Homak's hardware line gained widespread acceptance in many major retail businesses of its time, and the company remained strong under the leadership of Sigmund's wife, Gertrude, who took over the business following his death in 1979. In 2005, Homak was acquired by JVA and relocated its office to western Pennsylvania, where its facility now resides in the Wampum Underground Commerce Center. Today, Homak's focus remains on tool storage and gun cabinet security, offering a comprehensive product line that includes hand-carry toolboxes, tool bags, parts organizers, tool storage cabinets, workbenches, garage furniture, safety cabinets, spill containment systems, steel lockers, gun cabinets, fire-resistant safes, and ammo storage boxes, along with various accessories.
